| As a textile artist l work with dyed fabrics to create richly coloured textured collage paintings using a variety of textiles. Acrylic paint is applied to enhance the painting. Raw edges and loose threads are left to add textural appeal and create exciting movement. |
Felt Painting
This form of painting satisfies my thirst for vibrant colours and textures. Using combinations of fibers in a painterly way, much as l do with textiles, playing with the placement of coloured fibres and continuing that story with stitch until the results capture intense texture and vibrant colour of the landscapes that surround me.
